Boot Camp is On the Road!!!!!
USA, here we come! Decorating Masters Institute is taking to the highways and byways of America and bringing our famous faux finishing Boot Camps to a town in your area.
DMI's faux finishing Boot Camps have been taught in our Atlanta, Ga and Ft. Myers, Fla studios to 1000's of students from throughout the US and internationally. Boot Camp, to those who don't know, is a 5 day, very intensive & complete workshop, teaching about 60 different finishes and all the knowledge needed to set up and operate a business as a faux finishing professional. Every finish taught is shown in its relationship to your business and how to make it profitable. The DMI marketing and pricing segment is, in itself, worth at least ½ the price of the class. Finishes taught run the gamut from floated & brushed washes to stucco & plasters, paper finishes, metallics & pearlescents, to no-fail crackles, marbles & stones and much more.
Complete course backup is included in the form of how-to technique & marketing manuals. DVDs & videos are also available.
Here's the way it works. A coordinator in each area will set up the workshop. This will entail selecting & organizing the site, distributing promotional materials & putting potential students in touch with our office. The cost of the class is $1500.00 which includes all tools & materials + continental breakfast & lunch each day. A $500.00 deposit must be paid 6 weeks in advance of the class (non-refundable unless DMI cancels the class). The Boot Camp will begin with Saturday, Sunday & Monday of the first week and finish up with Saturday & Sunday of the week following. Graduation will be on Saturday evening of the 2nd week. Classes will run from 8AM to 6 PM each day (this IS Boot Camp, don't you know!).
